API Unavailable
The plugin will validate your license locally if our API is temporarily unavailable
Database Optimization
Your WordPress database accumulates unnecessary data over time - spam comments, old post revisions, expired temporary files, and orphaned data from deleted content. This clutter slows down your site and wastes storage space.
What Gets Cleaned
- Spam comments that serve no purpose
- Old post revisions (we keep your 3 most recent versions)
- Expired transient data that WordPress forgot to delete
- Metadata from posts, comments, and users that no longer exist
- General database optimization to defragment tables
Running Database Cleanup
The database optimization is straightforward - just head to your Speed Leopard dashboard and look for the Database Optimization card. You'll see how many unnecessary items were found. Click "Clean Database" and the plugin handles everything automatically.
Safety First
We've designed the database cleanup to be completely safe. It only removes data that's genuinely unnecessary - no published content, no important settings, nothing you actually need. That said, it's always smart to have a recent backup before running any optimization, just as good practice.
Image Optimization
Large, unoptimized images are one of the biggest performance killers for WordPress sites. Most people upload photos straight from their camera or phone without realizing these files can be 5-10MB each.
How Image Compression Works
Speed Leopard analyzes each image and reduces the file size while keeping the visual quality intact. We use intelligent compression algorithms that remove unnecessary data (like camera settings embedded in photos) and optimize the actual image data.

Cache Management
Caching can dramatically speed up your website, but sometimes cached files become outdated or cause issues when you update content. Speed Leopard can clear various types of cache to ensure your visitors always see the latest version of your site.
Types of Cache Cleared
- WordPress's built-in object cache and transient storage
- PHP OPcache (if your hosting provider has it enabled)
- Popular caching plugins (W3 Total Cache, WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, LiteSpeed Cache)
- Browser cache optimization hints

Performance Testing
Understanding your site's actual performance is crucial for making informed optimization decisions. Speed Leopard includes comprehensive performance testing that goes beyond basic "health checks" to measure real-world site speed.

Automated Optimization
Manual optimization is great, but the real power comes from automation. Speed Leopard can handle routine maintenance automatically so your site stays optimized without constant attention.
Free Automation Features
- Weekly database cleanup
- Basic image optimization (10 images per run)
- Cache clearing as part of maintenance
Pro Automation Advantages
- Hourly, daily, or weekly schedules
- Unlimited image processing
- Performance monitoring with trends
- Email reports summarizing activities
Pro Features
Performance Monitoring
One of the most valuable Pro features is the ability to track your site's performance over time. Instead of just getting snapshots, you can see trends and measure the real impact of your optimizations.
Email Reports
Pro users can receive automated reports summarizing their site's performance and optimization activities. Choose from weekly summaries, monthly detailed reports, or instant alerts when issues are detected.
Advanced Scheduling
While the free version includes basic weekly automation, Pro users get complete control over scheduling. Set different optimization tasks to run at different frequencies based on your site's needs.
Priority Support
Pro license holders get priority access to our support team with guaranteed response times. Whether you need help with configuration, troubleshooting, or optimization advice, we're here to help.
Pro Pricing
Speed Leopard Pro is available for a one-time payment of $39. This includes lifetime updates and access to all Pro features. We also offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not completely satisfied.

License Issues
"Invalid License" Message
Double-check that you've copied the license key exactly as it appears in your purchase email. Even an extra space can cause problems.
Email Verification
Make sure you're using the same email address you used when purchasing.
Multiple Sites
License keys are tied to specific domains. You'll need separate licenses for each domain.
Performance Issues
Slow Optimizations
Run optimizations during low-traffic periods when your server has more resources available.
Large Image Batches
Process images in smaller batches rather than trying to optimize thousands at once.
Memory Limits
Contact your hosting provider about increasing your PHP memory limit if you consistently hit limits.
